Session Video
This session tackled how crypto can deliver real value to everyday consumers. Moderated by Vanessa Pestritto, the panel brought together founders building in fitness, commerce, and community to examine what it means to reach mainstream users without overwhelming them with technical jargon.
Panelists noted that "consumer crypto" must evolve from financial speculation to value-added lifestyle integration. Caitlin emphasized UX simplicity, sharing how Moonwalk uses embedded wallets to onboard users without requiring technical know-how. Jana described KIKI’s commerce model as opt-in on-chain engagement with modular design. Justin identified the gap between token-driven DeFi and practical consumer tools.

Improved onboarding tools like Privy enable mass adoption through email logins and invisible wallets. Jana highlighted participatory commerce as a loyalty driver, while Justin warned against designing solely for crypto-native incentives. The panelists stressed that tokens should be an additive feature, not the core product.
Builders must prioritize product retention, participatory features, and UX that appeals to both web2 and web3 users. Investors should evaluate teams on user retention and behavioral data—not vanity metrics or token hype. Real consumer adoption is built on simplicity, not speculation.
