Curiosity as a Compass

The sense of discovery has always fueled me.

I’ve always been naturally curious about people, cultures, ideas, and how different systems shape the way we live. Growing up in a small coastal town in the Philippines, I’ve always been curious about the world beyond my horizon. Traveling has been one of the ways I feed that curiosity. Each place I visit reminds me that there are countless ways to approach problems, build communities, and imagine the future. Whether it’s living with Amazigh nomads in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, hiking for six days through the Peruvian Andes, or navigating language barriers while staying in strangers’ homes– these experiences have pushed me into unfamiliar situations, and taught me to adapt, think on my feet, and grow more confident in solving problems.

That same curiosity shapes how I approach my career. I’ve never been comfortable staying stagnant. Growth, for me, comes from exploring new environments, learning new disciplines, and challenging myself to see the world differently.

In many ways, joining Decasonic brought me back to that feeling of discovery. The world of Web3 x AI is still being written in real time. What once felt theoretical or distant is quickly becoming reality as founders push the boundaries of what technology can do.

Being part of this space means constantly learning, adapting, and imagining what the future might look like.

Growth, Communities, and Digital Platforms

Before entering the venture ecosystem, my work centered around growth marketing for startups and digital platforms in Southeast Asia, scaling user growth for TikTok Shop and Kumu Philippines. Having worked with TikTok, I developed a deeper understanding of the nuances behind scaling growth across Southeast Asia’s diverse markets. In contrast, my experience at Kumu immersed me in the Filipino digital community, giving me a more intimate view of local user behavior, culture, and connection online. Exposure to both regional scale and local depth has shaped my approach to growth, framing it not just as a numbers game, but as a balance between broad strategy and deep cultural understanding. In these environments, growth wasn’t just about metrics or performance dashboards. It was about understanding people, what motivates them to buy products, join communities, participate in platforms, and stay engaged over time.

I’ve worked on initiatives that focused heavily on creator engagement and digital communities, where the health of the ecosystem depended on how connected and motivated users felt within the platform. These experiences taught me that technology succeeds not only because of what it can do, but because of how people interact with it.

Adoption happens when people see value, understand the purpose behind the technology, and feel like they are part of something bigger. Those lessons remain just as relevant today as new technologies like Web3 x AI reshape the digital landscape.

These lessons shaped how I think about growth today. It is not simply about campaigns or channels, but about systems that connect people, communities, and ideas in ways that allow platforms and ecosystems to scale.

Discovering the Venture and Web3 Ecosystem

Decasonic sits at the intersection of venture capital, blockchain innovation, and artificial intelligence. These fields are rapidly evolving and redefining how the internet operates.

Entering this space has been both exciting and humbling. The pace of innovation is extraordinary. New ideas emerge every day as founders experiment with decentralized systems, intelligent technologies, and entirely new digital economies. For someone driven by curiosity, this environment is incredibly energizing. There is always something new to learn, new perspectives to explore, and new builders pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

What makes venture ecosystems particularly fascinating is how ideas grow through networks of founders, operators, investors, and communities. The success of new technologies often depends not only on innovation, but on how effectively those ideas spread across ecosystems.

AI-Native Growth in Emerging Ecosystems

As technology evolves, marketing itself is becoming increasingly AI-native.

AI tools are changing how marketers discover insights, experiment with ideas, and scale content and distribution. For venture ecosystems, this creates new opportunities to amplify founder voices and surface emerging ideas faster.

I’m particularly interested in how AI-driven workflows can help marketing teams identify signals across founder communities, analyze ecosystem conversations, and experiment with new forms of storytelling and distribution.

By combining data-driven experimentation with creativity, growth marketing can help venture ecosystems move at the same pace as the technologies they support.

Telling the Stories Behind Innovation

One of the most fascinating aspects of emerging technology is that many of the most transformative ideas begin as complex concepts that are difficult for broader audiences to understand.

At Decasonic, I’m excited to contribute to the conversations surrounding Web3 x AI by helping amplify the voices of founders and innovators shaping the future of technology. This means translating complex ideas into narratives that people can connect with, stories that highlight not just the technology itself, but the human impact behind it.

In venture ecosystems, storytelling plays an important role in helping founders gain visibility, attract collaborators, and connect with the broader technology community.

Because ultimately, technology becomes meaningful when people understand how it can improve lives, create new opportunities, and enable communities to thrive.

Building What Comes Next

When I think about the future of Web3 x AI, I’m reminded of why curiosity has always been such an important compass in my life. Emerging technologies invite us to imagine new possibilities for how people interact, collaborate, and create value in the digital world.

Because the most meaningful innovations are the ones that inspire others to explore what’s possible.

And in many ways, this journey is just beginning.
