Exploring and Investing in Web3 Adoption Across Foundations, Flows, and Frontiers

A Market Defined by Adoption

On July 23, 2026, Decasonic, together with Bridge Alternatives, VanEck, and New Form Liquid Capital, will host the 5th Annual Web3 Investor Day at the Willis Tower in Chicago.

Timed alongside TechChicago Week, Web3 Investor Day brings together more than 300 industry leaders, including 50+ founders, 50+ venture capital firms, leading capital allocators, institutional investors, operators, and ecosystem partners. Now in its fifth year, the event is a private, invite-only gathering for high-conviction conversations across digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, artificial intelligence, institutional capital, and emerging Web3 applications.

This year’s theme is Investing in Adoption.

The theme reflects where the market is today. After years of infrastructure buildout, market cycles, regulatory uncertainty, and early experimentation, Web3 is entering a more mature phase. The conversation is no longer only about what blockchain technology could enable. It is about where adoption is happening, where value is accruing, and where capital should be deployed next.

Across stablecoins, tokenization, digital asset markets, prediction markets, AI infrastructure, and blockchain-enabled applications, institutional participation is deepening. The next wave of opportunity will be shaped by real users, real revenue, real workflows, and real market structure.

Web3 Investor Day 2026 is designed to meet that moment.

Programming Built Around Foundations, Flows, and Frontiers

This year’s agenda is organized across three speaking tracks: Foundations, Flows, and Frontiers.

Together, these tracks will explore how adoption is taking shape across the core layers of the Web3 economy: the institutional foundation, the movement of capital and liquidity, and the frontier technologies shaping what comes next.

Foundations: The Institutional Base for Web3 Adoption

The Foundations track will examine the core infrastructure, institutions, and market conditions required for Web3 adoption to scale.

These conversations will focus on how investors, enterprises, universities, policymakers, and financial institutions are engaging with blockchain-enabled technologies. Topics will include the state of adoption, tokenization, real-world assets, regulatory development, institutional infrastructure, and the role of public-private collaboration in bringing emerging technology into mainstream use.

This track is about the base layer of adoption: the trust, infrastructure, compliance, education, and capital required to support durable growth.

Featured Foundations conversations are expected to include the state of Web3 adoption, AI and social adoption, university communities, tokenization, regulatory perspectives, and the institutional infrastructure supporting the next era of blockchain-enabled markets.

Flows: Capital, Liquidity, and Market Structure

The Flows track will focus on how value moves through the digital asset ecosystem.

As Web3 markets mature, liquidity, trading infrastructure, capital formation, tokenized assets, and market structure are becoming central to institutional adoption. Sessions will explore the future of trading, prediction markets, digital asset markets, tokenization, and the ways capital is moving across venture, liquid markets, and on-chain financial systems.

This track will examine where financial activity is becoming more efficient, programmable, and globally accessible, and what that means for investors, allocators, trading firms, and founders.

Featured Flows conversations are expected to include the future of trading, the future of money, prediction markets, M&A, tokenized markets, and the evolution of institutional participation across digital assets.

Frontiers: Web3 x AI and the Next Wave of Innovation

The Frontiers track will look ahead to the technologies and business models shaping the next era of Web3.

A central focus will be the convergence of Web3 and artificial intelligence. AI is changing how software is built, how decisions are made, how capital is allocated, and how users interact with financial products. At the same time, Web3 infrastructure introduces new models for ownership, coordination, identity, payments, and programmable value transfer.

This intersection is becoming increasingly important. Autonomous financial agents may require wallets, permissions, identity, compliance, and payment rails. AI-native markets may need verification, provenance, and trust layers. Prediction markets and on-chain data networks may become more important as intelligent systems seek high-signal information. Tokenized assets and decentralized infrastructure may create new ways for capital to move, settle, and compound.

The Frontiers track will explore how these ideas are moving from experimentation toward deployment, and what that means for the next generation of investable companies.

Featured Frontiers conversations are expected to include Web3 x AI, agentic finance, AI-enabled markets, consumer adoption, and the next generation of decentralized infrastructure.

Confirmed Speakers and Participants

This year’s confirmed speaker and participant lineup includes leaders across venture capital, institutional finance, trading, academia, law, digital assets, and emerging technology.

Confirmed speakers and participants include:

Additional speakers and participants will be announced as programming is finalized.

A Room Built for High-Conviction Conversation

Web3 Investor Day is not designed to be a broad industry expo. It is designed for focused discussion, meaningful relationship-building, and actionable investment insight.

The day will bring together leaders across venture capital, institutional finance, trading, academia, technology, law, and emerging Web3 companies to discuss the themes shaping the next cycle.

The goal is to create a room where allocators, investors, founders, and operators can move beyond surface-level narratives and discuss what is actually working: where demand is forming, where distribution is emerging, and where technology is translating into measurable value.

Chicago as a Center for Adoption

Chicago is a natural home for this conversation.

The city sits at the intersection of markets, capital, technology, universities, logistics, and industry. It has deep roots in derivatives, trading, financial infrastructure, and institutional innovation. As Web3 continues to mature, Chicago provides a powerful backdrop for a conference focused on adoption, market structure, and long-term value creation.

Web3 Investor Day also reflects the strength of Chicago’s broader innovation ecosystem. Through collaboration with investors, operators, universities, founders, and public-private partners, the event helps connect the people and institutions shaping the future of blockchain, AI, and digital assets.

As Web3 adoption accelerates, Chicago is positioned not only as a financial center, but as a launchpad for the next era of decentralized and AI-powered infrastructure.

Investing in Adoption

Web3 Investor Day is more than a conference. It is a market signal.

It brings together the investors, founders, allocators, and institutional leaders who are actively shaping where the next cycle of value will be created. The conversations are focused. The room is curated. The goal is not just to discuss the future of Web3, but to identify where adoption is already happening and where the next high-conviction opportunities are forming.

As we celebrate the fifth year of Web3 Investor Day, we are excited to bring the ecosystem together in Chicago for a day centered on one core theme: Investing in Adoption.

Through the speaking tracks of Foundations, Flows, and Frontiers, this year’s event will explore where Web3 adoption is taking root, where capital is flowing, and what frontiers will define the next era of innovation.
